Bug study

Created as part of a workshop, this project explores the transformation of a two-dimensional illustration into a physical printing form. Based on an original bug motif, the process involved developing a relief plate and experimenting with different techniques to transfer the design onto paper.
The resulting prints range from blind embossing, where the image is revealed solely through texture and light, to colored impressions produced with various inks and materials. Beyond the final outcomes, the project focused on understanding the relationship between graphic design, material properties, and traditional printmaking processes through hands-on experimentation.
